abriram a upc ?

I had the same problem with my 04 megane and i fixed it !!!!!! yeeehaaaaThe car would not start one day with no warning, when we pressed the break it was stiff and it said on the dash insert card when the card was aready in. it also was making the clicking noise then a constent noise like a motor was running in the engin started and would not stop unless the batterie was unpluged.Heres how i fixed mine...I opened the bonnet to access the fuse box / ECU ( this is located on the righthand side of the engine as you look at it next to the batterie under a black plastic box with 2 screws on the top of it. take the screws off and u will see loads of fuses and cables plugged into a unit. it was at this stage i unplugged one of these plugs to find it was full of water. i then disconected the batterie and proceded to remove the batterie so that i could take out all the plugs and the bolt that holds it inplace. (take a picture so u remember were each plug go's.. it also tells you what coulor of plug go's were but best to be safe) once i got it out i turned it upside down and loads of water came out, i had to take it apart remove all fuses "again took i pic to remind me were they go. i took at apart and dried it with the missus hairdrier till it was bone dry. i also left the plugs out in the air to dry out, left them all for about 1hr. put it all back together and hey presto the bad boy started first time. !!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)I sussed out that the rain had got into the box at the top right hand corner there is a small gap were the rain was getting in, i covered it with an asda bag and the problem was sorted.
